Frequently Asked Questions

What Are Powder Brows?

Powder Brows are a semi-permanent makeup procedure for eyebrow enhancement. The technician inserts pigment into the top layers of the skin with a tattoo machine. As a result, a powdery eyebrow effect is achieved and misty powdered brows are created. Powder Brows create the fullness of your brows in a bespoke shape that best brings out your features.

Does It Hurt?

This is one of the questions I am asked most. It is difficult to say as people's pain thresholds differ. The procedure can feel like an uncomfortable scratching but most people that are nervous about pain are pleasantly surprised and say that it isn't as painful as they'd imagined.

What Is The Difference Between Powder Brows & Microblading?

Microblading creates individual hair strokes and is more suited to young, normal/dry skin, while Powder Brows uses a machine to create tiny dots to achieve a misty, powder-filled brow. By doing so, the result resembles a makeup look that includes shade under any existing hair. Powder Brows are suitable for all skin types.

How To Take Care Of Your Brows?

- Avoid exfoliating skin treatments

- Avoid using anti-aging products containing retinol in your brow area

How Do You Design Brow Shape?

* Each set of brows is completely bespoke as they are measured using your bone structure and face shape.

* The time it takes varies with each client but I never rush as it's one of the most important aspects of powder brows.

* I always welcome my clients input into the desired shape of brows and can always tweak my design accordingly
